Internet带宽测量技术研究

摘要 阐述了链路带宽,瓶颈带宽,可利用带宽的基本概念及相互关系,并分别介绍了它们的测量技术和方法。其中,重点对变包测量模型、包对模型、包间隔模型和包速率模型的测量原理及优缺点进行了分析,最后提出了现有带宽测量技术存在的一些普遍问题及以后研究的方向。 This paper discusses the basic concepts and their interrelationship of link bandwidth, bottlenecks bandwidth and available bandwidth, and it also introduces the measurement technologies and methods of them. The basic principles of VPS, packet pair, PGM and PRM are mainly compared and analyzed. Also some general problems of current bandwidth measurement technologies and further studies are put forward.
