摘要
数据集成是解决信息孤岛问题的一个重要技术,它所面临的主要挑战是如何有效地处理多个数据源之间的分布性、自治性和异构性。分析研究了在不同数据源之间由多重分类标准而产生的异构性并对其进行形式化描述,然后在形式化描述的基础上给出了一个通用的查询转换算法以解决该种形式的异构性。
Data integration is an important technology to eliminate the issue of information isolation. One of the main challenges in data integration is how to effectively address distribution, autonomy and heterogeneity among different data sources. This paper analyzes and investigates a certain type of heterogeneity, which is caused by multi-classifying standard among different data sources. It then makes a formal description and finally gives a query transformation algorithm to solve this type of heterogeneity.
