Greenish white porcelain is a famous genre of Northern Song Dynasty porcelain, and the handled ewer as a prominent representative is distinguished in particular for its unique shapes. This paper analyses the aesthetics of the handled ewer from the perspectives of its body, shape and historical background. It is concluded that the greenish white porcelain ewer of the Northern Song Dynasty has the unique beauty of elegance and delicacy in its shapes, which characterizes the aesthetics of the Northern Song Dynasty and reflects the life and society in this historical context.
