作为一名始终坚守女性主义立场、关注女性欲望的作家,虹影用其作品给我们掀开了女性欲望的一角。她从女性真切的体验出发诉说女性处于匮乏和压抑状态下的生命之欲。我们从她的小说中可以看到贫困滋生的物欲、压抑助长的情欲两大类欲望,而在表述女性压抑助长的情欲的同时,虹影小说也在努力探寻着欲望之上的生命终极意义。

Hong Ying is a woman writer who always focuses on desires in a feminism position. Her works uncover for us an angle of female desires and from her novels two kinds of desires dearly meet people＇s eyes： desires for materials and self- realization cultivated in poverty; ardor promoted by oppression. These female desires narrative relates the female desire for life under poverty and oppression from the practical experiences of females. At the same time, the novels of Hong Ying are struggling for searching the ultimate significance of life beyond desires.
