New status of farmer's identity and rights

构建和谐社会,建设社会主义新农村,都离不开农民的参与,这就需要对农民的身份进行重新认识,给予农民以公平的待遇和应有的权利。而现实的情况是,由于种种原因,农民在整个社会中被边缘化,形成一种尴尬的复合式身份。这种显失公平的待遇,是建设和谐社会需要解决的重要问题。

When constructing the harmonious society and the new socialism countryside, we can never count the farmer＇s participation out. Therefore we should pay much more attention to the farmer＇s new status and give farmer fair treatment and rights, but the real situation is that farmers in the entire society are marginalized, which has formed one kind of awkward status. This unfair treatment is the major barrier to constructing harmonious society.
