摘要 介绍了通过闭合场非平衡磁控溅射离子镀技术制备出的CrA lTiN超硬纳米梯度复合镀层在铣刀上的应用,试验结果表明,铣刀在离子镀处理之后寿命提高为原来的3倍。采用SEM和TEM分析了镀层铣刀磨损后的表面形貌及无镀层铣刀的失效方式,揭示了镀层提高铣刀寿命的原因。 The application of CrAITiN nano-scale graded hard coating preparecl by closed field unbalanced magnetron sputter ion plating in increasing the wear resistance of a milling cutter was investigated. A scanning electron microscope and a transmission electron microscope were performed to observe the worn surface morphologies of the uncoated milling cutter and the one coated with the CrAITiN composite coating, and the causes leading to the failure of the uncoated milling cutter were accordingly analyzed. At the name time, the causes for the CrAITiN composite coating to increase the servire life of the limming cutter were also explored. It was found that the CrAlTiN composite coaling was able to increase the service life of the milling cutter by a factor of 2, which could be well related to the gradient nano-strue the and extremely high hardness of the composite coating, In other words, the magnetron sputter ion plated CrAlTiN composite coating with gradient nano-structure and extremely high hardness contributed to significantly increasing the wear resistance of the milling cutter and hence greatly increasing its service life as well.
