如东海岸的优势是:(1)幅射沙洲的消波能力强;(2)烂沙洋北水道的水深条件好;(3)西太阳沙整体呈稳定状态;(4)拟建港区离岸较近;(5)后方陆域宽阔,依托条件好;(6)港口地理位置优越,有利于地区经济发展。特别是2006-09江苏LNG接卸站在该海区建设,为该港区开辟了光明的前景,同时也表明该港区大规模建设已经开始,在不久的将来,南通港洋口港区将成为中国沿海的重要港口之一,发展前景也相当乐观。

The advantages of the coast in Rudong are： （1） strong wave absorbing capacity of radiation shoal; （2） good condition of water depth of Lanshayang North Channel; （3） integral stability of Xitaiyang Shoal; （4） the proposed harbor is near the Shore; （5） wide rear shore and good depending conditions; （6.） Super geographical position is beneficial to local economic development. Especially, the construction of Jiangsu LNG landing station in this sea in Sep. 2006 establishes good foreground for Yangkou harbor, which indicates the large-scale construction of the harbor has started. In the coming future, Nantong Yangkou Harbor will be one of the most important harbors in China. The development prospects are quite optimistic.
