On the Syntax and Semantics of Two Types of Conditionals

文章用形式语义学关于量词的无选择约束三分结构假设对普通话中含有“谁”的条件句进行了分析。在Cheng&Huang(1996)等研究的基础上,对“……谁……,……谁……”和“……谁……,……他……”两种条件句式中“谁”的量化含义、结果子句中“谁”和“他”等成分的分布规律,进行了探讨,并做出初步解释。

By means of the nonselective binding tripartite structure hypothesis, this paper explores two types of conditionals in Chinese, i.e. ＂…shui（who）＇＂, ＂＇＂ shui…＂ and ＂…shui…, …ta （he）…＂. Based on earlier studies by Cheng ＆ Huang （1996） and others, it analyzes the rules that determine the quantificational implications and syntactic distribution of ＂shui＂ and ＂ta＂in these conditionals.
