摘要
本文通过试验对大学生英语课堂口语表达方面焦虑的程度、焦虑与口语表达的关系、焦虑的性别差异等问题进行了探讨,认为教师可以通过交际教学法给学生提供较多的口语锻炼机会、创造轻松的课堂交流环境来降低学生的焦虑,帮助他们提高英语口语表达能力。
This study measures the intensity of college students' anxiety in English class, the correlations between classroom anxiety and the students' oral performance in English and gender differences related to classroom anxiety. The findings suggest that classroom anxiety can be reduced by adopting a communicative teaching methodology which provides students with more opportunities to perform meaningful tasks in pairs and groups. Although classroom anxiety has a negative effect on the learner' s oral performance, it can be conquered.
