噪音在现代社会中的出现频率越来越高,并因此形成一种有文化意味的现象。文章首先运用词源考证法,考察噪音的最初能指,然后从作家或思想家们对噪音的态度和噪音音乐出发思考了噪音的两种本原意义,进而从《白噪音》、《噪音:音乐的政治经济学》等文本中发掘出噪音的多样文化隐喻。文章最后表明对噪音所具文化隐喻的态度。

There is one word that is getting a high appearing frequency and one kind of cultural phenomenon thus comes into being. It is Noise. in this article, the author investigates Noise＇ s original signal, then analyzes its two fundamental meanings from noise music and the attitude of writers or thinkers to Noise, and then unearths the multiple cultural metaphors of Noise from White Noise, Noise ： Political economics of Music, etc. At the end of this article, the author expresses her attitude to these cultural metaphors of Noise, expecting that a perfect society will appear and all the problems indicated by these metaphors of Noise will get solved.
