Aluminium-matrix Composites and Their Potential Applications in Rolling Stocks

本文综述了目前国内外对铝基复合材料组织、性能和制造工艺的研究进展及开发应用的现状，对未来机车车辆制造和维修中钻基复合材料的应用进行了分析探讨，指出在未来高性能机车车辆上采用铝基复合材料制造重要零、部件，是实现列车轻量化，提高列车承载能力和行车速度的重要途径之一。

The present situation of the studies on the microstructures, properties, manufacturing processes, and applications of aluminium - matrx coposites at home and abroad is reviewed. The potential applications of the composites in the manufactrure and maintenance of rolling stocks are analysed. It is pointed out that manufactruring the crucially important parts with aluminium-matrix composites for high-performance rolling stocks is one of the main approaches of lightening the rol1ing stock and increasing the capacity and trveling speed of trains.
