Circulating pumps are generally adopted in air-conditioning system to convey cold or hot medium to satisfy the designed requirements in winter or summer air-conditioning, in which power consumption is desired to be reduced as much as possible. This paper describes an optimal choice of pumps for this purpose, which is of practical value in air-conditioning project design.
