Research progress on methods of enhancing transdermal absorption of traditional Chinese medicine

大多数药物由于皮肤的屏障功能,在透皮应用时达不到治疗的要求,因此促进药物透皮渗透是透皮吸收研究的一个重要内容。中药外治法具有悠久的历史,但中药成分的复杂性增加了中药透皮吸收研究的难度。作者综述了促进中药透皮吸收方法的研究进展。

Because of the barrier function of the skin, most drugs cannot reach the need of therapy when they were used in transdermal delivery system. So enhancing transdermal absorption is one of the most important aspects of the study of topieal application of drug products. The use of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）in delivery system has a long history, but the complexity of the TCM increases the difficulty in the study of transdermal absorption. This article reviews the research process on methods of enhancing transdermal absorption of the TCM.
