This paper analyses the phenomenon that the historical relies often undergo destructive renovations in the course of urbanization With the case study of the renovation plan of the ancient city, the paper makes a further tentative discussion of the principles and measures to preserve and utilize the fragments of historical relics in a sustainable way.
