The paper summarizes the successful experience of Deqing county building the new socialist countryside by developing the modem forestry. First, change the forestry mode of production. Second, develop the proftable fo restry with the industrialization mode. Third, promoting modem forestry develop by the guide of government and the policy support. Getting to enlightenment as follows： with implementation of the scientific conception of development,enhancing service function of the government, correctly balancing the forestry development and richening farmer, ecosystem protection and industry development, developing non-public forestry, and pushing forestry industrialization and modernization.
