本文首先给出了正交数字调制器的应用场合与优点，然后介绍了AD9857的框图、性能、引脚及其功能，并讨论了AD9857的工作方式、数据输入、DDS核及DAC，阐述了AD9857的控制字及其读写控制，并给出了一个实际应用例子。
This paper gives the applications of orthogonal digital up-converter and its advantages. Also introduces the block diagram, performance, pins and their functions of AD9857. Then follows by the operation, data input, DDS core and DAC. The control character and write/read control of AD9857 is also described with one actual application.
