The coal quality property and washability of Zhaotong lignite in Yunnan is analyzed, the advantages and disadvantages for Zhaotong lignite as fuel for power generation, raw material for producing gas and gasification and for making humic acid are explained. The principle for selecting separation and processing scheme is put forward and based on it, a separation scheme is put forward.
