On the Negative Transfer of Wuhan Dialect's Pronunciation to the English Pronunciation in the Segmental Level

在外语学习中,语音迁移是语言迁移的普遍现象。对于外语学习者来说,已形成的母语发音习惯对于新语言语音的学习具有负迁移作用。本文通过对比分析武汉方言音素对英语发音的负迁移作用,找出武汉学生学习英语发音的重点和难点,并分析其成因。

In learning a foreign language, phonetic transfer is a popular phenomenon. For foreign language learners, the habits that they have in pronunciation of their mother tongue play a negative role when they learn a new language pronunciation. By comparing and contrasting the pronunciation of Wuhan dialect and English, the paper tries to conclude the importance and difficulties when local students learn English pronunciation and analyze its cause of formation.
