Influence of Feminism upon Translation Theory and Practice

20世纪90年代出现的女性主义翻译理论,是女性主义运动拓展到文化领域的结果。它的出现推动了翻译研究的文化转向。从译者地位,原作与译作关系,翻译标准等方面对传统译论提出质疑,并且通过翻译实践中的“叛逆”争取女性话语权。

Feminist translation came into being in the 1990＇ s, which is the result of the development of Feminism movement in cultural field. It gave fresh impetus to the＇ ＂cultural turn＂ of translation. It challenged the traditional translation theory in many aspects, such as the translator＇s status, the relationship between the source language text and the target language text, and translation standards. Meanwhile, feminist translators made great efforts in their translating practice to lift the status of translators as well as the female.
