The symbolic representation of lions in Out of Africa is analyzed. Considers that these lions are not only the reprehensive animals of the African plains but also the media of the various feelings of Danish female author Isak Dinesen. The lions symbolize the mystery, forcefulness and brevity, and characterize the nobility and authority. The author uses the lions as a symbol to express her attitudes to love, life and nobility.
