Bilateral internal Iliac Arterial Interventional Treatment with DSA for Pelvic Malignancies Through Unilateral Femoral Artery Catheterization

本文报道经手术、病理证实的１５例晚期或复发性骨盆肿瘤．经一侧股动脉穿刺插管双侧髂内动脉ＤＳＡ介入治疗的初步体会。认为此法既可作为术前治疗，使肿瘤缩小以利手术切除，又可作为综合治疗的一种方法，增加疗效．延长生命。具有操作简便、安全、造影清晰、副作用少、疗效确切等优点，是非手术治疗骨盆肿瘤的优良方法，不仅能决定肿瘤的大小、形态、位置和性质，也能估价病人的预后。

Transcatheter bilateral iliac arterial internal iliac arterial infusion chemotherapy and embolization through unilateral femoral artery catheterization were Performed in 15 cases with advanced or recurrent pelvic malignancies. The preliminary results indicated that method could be used both preoperatively to reduce the size of the tumors rendering the operation easier and also used as one of the combined treatment to enhance therapeutic effectiveness, and prolong the patients life. This method has proved to be simple, safe, good image quality, less side effects in Procedure and highly effective. It is an ideal non-operative treatment for pelvic tumors. Not only we could define the tumor's size、shape、location and the nature of tumors, but also could estimate prognosis of the potients.
