Strategies on Ningbo's Development of Higher Education from Quantity Expansion to Quality

改革开放以来,宁波高等教育实现了跨越式的发展,其成绩是巨大的。但是,宁波市高等教育在规模迅速扩张的同时,其规模、质量、结构、投入之间的矛盾日益突出,更缺乏强有力的服务地方经济社会的能力。因此,如何在“十一五”期间进一步贯彻落实科学发展观,促进各类高校持续协调的发展,全面提升宁波市高等教育的整体水平和质量,真正满足地方经济快速发展对人才的多元化需求,已经成为当前宁波市高等教育转型急需解决的课题。

The article aims to reveal the issues and problems with higher learning institutions＇scale, quality, structure and investment along with rapid leap - forward development of Ningbo＇s colleges and universities. Thus, it suggests that the city investigate the transformation from quantity to quality, carry out the concept of scientific and sustainable development of higher education during the ＂1 lth Five -year Plan＂ period, to push Ningbo＇s colleges and universities to a higher level.
