Classical Confucian Literary Moralisation Theory and the Sense of the World

原始儒家文学教化说与汉武帝以后儒家教化说不同．今人对于儒家文学教化说的误解表现在没有领会原始儒家文学教化说的真正内涵。具体而论，一是将“温柔敦厚”与“思元邪”等同；二是没有认识到原始儒家文学教化说背后的天下观支撑在汉武帝以后的式微。

Classical Confucian literary moralisation theory is different from the one after Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. Present misunderstanding of the theory＇s connotation finds expression in two aspects： 1）Fidelity is equalled to being gentle and kind and not finding fault with others;2） People have failed to realize that the sense of the world behind classical Confucian literary moralisation began to weaken since the time of Emperor Wu.
