摘要
从萧友梅对传统音乐的理论研究、音乐创作以厦音乐教育活动中可以看出．他并不是一个在音乐上主张全盘西化的人，相反，他为继承和发展中国传统音乐作出了不懈的努力和重要的贡献。
XIAO Youmei, who is not a strong advocate of westernization of Chinese music, has made great contribution to the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese music,which can be seen through his theorectic research on traditional music,his musical creation and his teaching experience.
