摘要
文化重建是最近旧城改造中城市规划师关注和追求的目标之一。文化重建的一种办法就是通过发展或强化一个地区或者在那里生活的人们的特性来恢复或者提升城市生活的质量。城市设计是旧城复兴过程中的一个必要环节,以文化重建为目的的城市设计要想提高成功的几率,就要采用整体城市重建的办法,通过制定政策使文化重建策略成为城市管理和城市设计的组织原则之一。
Recent years, one of the goals that has been COncerned in urban redevelopment is cultural regeneration. This is seen as a means of restoring and improving the quality of urban life through the enhancement and development of the unique characteristics of a place and its people. Urban design is integral to the process of urban renaissance. It is suggested that, for improved chances of success of urban design techniques are used as part of the process of wider cultural regeneration, the adoption of a holistic approach to urban regeneration is required, with policy-makers using culture as an organizing principle for city management and urban design.
