MIT is one of the best research universities in the United States for its outstanding research features and strong research capacity. MIT employs numerous excellent researchers and pursues wise research policy,which more or less leads to its success. This article introduces the structure of MIT research staff in detail,and then briefly discusses the research policies of this university. This article aims to provide certain references for the development of research universities in China.
