特殊主义、普遍主义与现代性政治的认同——在中西政治文化之间的言说

Particularism, Universalism and Identity of Modernistic Politics

近代以来,中国人对于现代性政治的拒斥基本上是基于特殊主义的理由。对于普遍主义基点上建立的现代性政治的认同,大致处于一个欲迎还拒的状态。分析起来,特殊主义尽管具有某种历史理由的支持,但它不是一个自洽的立场。对于今天的中国来讲,审视特殊主义的局限性,正视普遍主义对现代政治理念、政治制度、政治生活的基本论证价值,具有支持中国现代化朝向深度发展的动力作用。

In these neoteric days, Chinese spurn at modernistic politics, basically ground on particularism. The identity on modernistic politics, building on universalism, has been in the state of being rejected, which, seemingly welcomed. As the analysis goes, particularism itself, even though seizing some historical support, is not yet at a consistency position. For today's China, to see through the limitation of particularism, and to envisage universalism's basic demonstrated value over political idea, political system and political life, play a dynamic role to push forward China's modernization development into the depth.
