Based on the design practice of super-large bridge (P. C. variable cross-section continuous box beam) on Wosong River, the article briefly introduces how to select the reasonable pile foundation type under the bad geological condition where the bridge is placed, and combined with the construction practice, the summarization and discussion are carried out.
