综述了设备诊断技术的理论与工程应用的发展现状，介绍了常用的几种诊断方法，阐述了信号处理和智能系统的发展动向。
This paper summarized the history and present status of the theory and engineering application of the equipment fault diagnostic technique, introduced some diagnostic methods in common use, explained the new trends of the signal processing and intelligent systems.
