On the Subjectivity of Translators Through Meaning Deconstruction and Reconstruction

关于译者的主体性研究可以追溯到上个世纪初,但该研究真正引起人们的关注并得以深入还得归因于二十世纪六十年代中期解构主义理论的提出与发展。解构主义一反传统,反对将原文看成是一个稳定而封闭的系统,把意义看成是一个不断变化发展的过程。本文旨在从解构主义翻译观对意义的解构与重构来阐述译者的主体性。

The subjectivity study of translators can be traced to the last century, but it didn＇t attract the people＇s attention until the middle of 1960s, when the theory of deconstruction was put forward. Contrary to the tradition, deconstructionists refused to regard a text as a stable and closed system, but regarded the meaning as a continuously changeable process. The paper discusses the translators＇ subjectivity through meaning deconstruction and reconstruction from the translating viewpoint of deconstructionism.
