《奔流文艺丛刊》是一个综合性的严肃的纯文艺刊物,也是由党领导的进步抗日文学刊物。它诞生在形势严峻复杂的“孤岛”的最后一年。《丛刊》的文学创作坚持五四文学传统,是启蒙精神的发扬,具有独立的艺术价值和存在价值。抗战文艺理论得到深入和发展,对抗战与文艺关系的讨论呈现繁荣景象,但讨论一般不脱离文艺为抗战服务的宗旨,文艺受政治影响较大。《丛刊》作为上海孤岛文化、历史和中国抗战文艺与历史的一部分,具有不可替代的文化价值和历史意义。

Benliu Luerature and Art Collection ,born in the last year of the period of＂ the isolated island ＂, was a comprehensive serious and pure literary publication, it was also a progressive literature publication during Anti-Japanese War led by the Communist Party of China. Benliu Literature and Art Collection has great cultural value and historical significance which cannot be substituted.
