Guo Dao - pu, an outstanding representative in Daur history, took national liberation and revitalization as his own task. He is regarded as a distinguish educationist and thinker. He set up new - style schools with wholehearted enthusiasm which had promoted national education. Northeast Mongolia National Normal School established by him holds an important historic position in the development of national education in northeast China and Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
