2006年10月31日。十届全国人大常委会第二十四次会议以144票赞成，1票弃权，通过了《中华人民共和国反洗钱法》（以下简称《反洗钱法》），这是中国第一部关于反洗钱的专门性行政法律。该法于2007年1月1日起施行。
At its 24th session on October 31, 2006, the Standing Committee of the 10^th National People＇s Congress （NPC） - China＇ s top legislature - adopted the Antimoney Laundering Law of the People＇s Republic of China （hereinafter referred to as ＂the Anti-money Laundering Law＂） by a vote of 144, with one abstention. Effective as of January 1, 2007, the Antimoney Laundering Law is China＇s first separate administrative law against money laundering.
