摘要
2006年6月,大学英语4级考试改革后首次以新题型的形式出现在考生面前。带着新四级考试效度如何的疑问,笔者以某综合性大学学生新四级考试的成绩为实验数据,按照Messick和LyleF.Bachman等人的效度整体概念理论,从试卷内容、反应过程、试卷的内部结构以及测试的后果与其他外部变量之间的关系四个方面寻找效验的证据,通过理论和实证两方面对新四级考试的效度进行了探讨。
CET4 has been revised since June, 2006 to seek to test students' use of English language, especially the ability to listen and speak in English. To validate the revised CET 4 test, this paper discusses evidence to support the validity of CET4 score interpretations on the basis of Messick and Bachman' s theory of unitary validity, i.e. to validate the test scores from the aspects of test content coverage, response processes, test internal structure and relations to other variables.
