摘要
在外语环境下,词汇有意学习应成为主要的词汇获取方式。为此大学英语教师应加强词汇的有意教学;深化学生词汇知识;重视语块及搭配的学习,强化新旧词汇知识的内在联系;加强阅读中的词汇学习和阅读后的词汇巩固;适当利用母语,减轻词汇学习中的认知负担,提高英汉语之间的转换能力。
Vocabulary learning includes intentional and incidental learning. In the native language environment, the latter is the major way to acquire vocabulary, while in the foreign-language environment, the former should be given priority. By analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the two ways respectively and the problems confronting Chinese non-English majors , this article points out that vocabulary intentional learning should be given first consideration in terms of deepening students' vocabulary knowledge, stressing the study of chunks and collocations; increasing vocabulary learning in reading; improving the translating ability between the two languages.
