中国古代证据制度在宋代获得了空前的发展,原因主要有如下几个方面:这是社会发展的必然结果,也是诉讼活动逐渐文明化的必然趋向;契约制发达;审判制度变革;司法官员选任方式和务实重民观念的影响;宋代民风好讼。

Chinese ancient evidence system got unprecedented development in Song dynasty, the main reasons of which are following, first, it is inevitable result of social development, and also the inevitable tend of civilization litigious actions; second, the indenture system was advanced; third, the reformation of trial system; forth, affection of election system of judicial officials, and the view that paid great attention to populace and practice; the last but not least, the vogue at the end of dynasty is litigious.
