To Fully Realize Quality Education in Policemen's Information Literacy——Review and Perspective on the Police Documentary Retrieval Course

公安院校从1986年开设公安文献检索课,20年来在教学、师资建设和教材编写等方面取得了宝贵的经验。通过公安文献检索课全面实现公安信息素质教育是公安院校图书馆当前面临的首要任务,要全面提高对公安信息素质教育的认识,继续发挥公安院校图工委的作用,强化师资队伍建设,探索一条贴近公安工作实际的公安信息素质教育新途径。

Police colleges began to offer the police documental retrieval course in 1986. In the last 20 years, police education has been formalized. Under the leadership of the Library and Information Committee for police colleges, valuable experience has been gained in the aspects of teaching, capacity building, and compilation of textbooks. Under such a new situation, the most important task of the police college libraries is to realize public police information literacy education through police document retrieval courses. It is now necessary to recognize the importance of the police information literacy education and the role of the library and information committee for academic libraries of police college. It is also necessary to strengthen the teaching capacity building and to explore a new way of police information literacy education, which meets the needs of the police practices.
