摘要
2000年出版的英语专业本科教学大纲中明确规定:“文学课的目的在于培养学生阅读、欣赏、理解英语文学原著的能力,掌握文学批评的基本知识和方法。通过阅读和分析英美文学作品,促进学生语言基本功和人文素质的提高,增强学生对西方文学及文化的了解”。根据文学语用学的基本理论,要在英语专业本科美国文学的课堂教学中实现这一教学目的,交际教学法也许是最有效的途径。本文旨在讨论运用文学语用学的基本理论进行英语专业本科美国文学课堂教学的具体做法。
According to the syllabus of undergraduate English majors published in the year 2000, the objective of literature courses is to cultivate students' ability of reading English literary works, and then of appreciating and critically studying them with the basic literary theories and methods. Through effective reading and analyzing these literary works, it is aimed to enhance students' language and cultural competence, and to enrich their knowledge of western literature and culture.
To meet these goals, the communicative language teaching method might be the most effective approach in the American literature classroom of the English majors since the literary pragmatics focuses on social significance of literary language system and usage, including psychological mechanism and processes of production and interpretation of literary texts.
