摘要
采用油酸钠对纳米氢氧化镁进行表面改性,讨论了加入量、改性温度、改性时间对活化指数的影响;应用沉降速率、吸油率、粉末接触角等指标对改性前后的纳米氢氧化镁进行分析,并应用TEM、XRD对改性前后的氢氧化镁进行表征。实验结果表明:油酸钠在40℃、改性时间2h、添加量4%时,活化指数较好;改性后氢氧化镁粒径变小,沉降速率减慢,吸油率下降,粉末接触角增大,阻燃性能大大改善。
Surface modification of nano-sized magnesium hydroxide using sodium oleate were investigated in this paper. The effects of amount of surface modifier, modification temperature and time on activate index of magnesium hydroxide were discussed; The result shows that the optimum conditions were 40 ℃ at 2 h in the amount of 4%. The postmodification magnesium hydroxide has smaller particle size, larger powder contact angle, slower sedimentation rate, the less in-oil capacity and better flame-resisting capability than that of pre-modification.
