On the development course of the preface to ci-poetry in Song dynasty, SUShi was a poet of milestone. He expanded the content of the preface to the topic of ci - poetry and gave the still wider real space to the ci-poetry, led the van of the longer preface to the ci-poetry and paid attention to polishing the words, thus made the preface like a lyric prose ; stressed and strengthened the recording function of the preface and showed the dense romance color of the ci-poetry. He made the creation of the preface to ci-poetry still mature and become a unique mark of ci-poetry.
