The paper analyzes the ipmortant value of the research on Chinese folk words in Suihanlu written by Kehong. Firstly , the research can help us distinguish many difficult folk words in Buddhistic words;Secondly, it it can supplement the shortage and correct the mistakes we have in this research field;Thirdly, it can also provide some evidence for us expounding the folk words; Forthly, it can help us leran about the reasons why many folk Buddhistic words are formed; Fifthly, it can add some novel ideas to our expounding of folk words. This paper points out that Suihanlu is very important research material on folk words. Suihanlus, thus weshould put emphasis on this research field.
