On retrospect of China＇s research on leisure, it is suspectable that leisure for material gain only from economic view point. The essence of leisure should lie in harmonious development of humanity, in the harmonious unity between man and nature, between man and society, and man himself. The research on the inner relations between leisure and humanity is very necessary for the construction practice of harmonious society.
