资源描述与检索(RDA)是一种为数字世界所设计的资源描述与检索的新标准,首先介绍从AACR2到RDA产生的过程,分析RDA的改名意义,对其性质、任务、结构,主要款目的处理方法和描述元素的组织形式进行论述,指出RDA设计的关键因素之一是在数据著录和数据表示之间设置了分界限;并简要地说明RDA与FRBR、RDA与MARC21之间的关联,指出RDA的出现对图书馆产生的影响及其不足之处。

The Resources Description and Access（RDA） is a new standard in the resources description and access designed for the digital world. This paper introduces the generating background of RDA and analyzes the purpose of RDAIs name changing. The paper also discusses the nature, task and structure of RAD, the processing method of the mail entry, as well as the organizing style of description elements. The author points out that the key point of the RAD design is to locate the distinction between data description and data expression, explains the relation between RAN and FRBR, RAD and MARC21, and shows the effect of PAD on the libraries.
