荆州是国家历史文化名城,城市水文化博大精深,水对城市形态的演变发展至关重要,荆州水文化包含了部分楚文化与三国文化,通过对水文化与城市建设的关系的初步研究,探求荆州城市景观设计与建设新旧共生的载体与方法。

Jingzhou is a national historical city, its urban water culture is abundant and profound, Water is quite Important to the development of Jingzhou＇s urban form. Jingzhou＇s water culture includes some of Chu culture and some of Sanguo Culture. Through the tentative research of between water culture and urban construction, we wish find the media and way of accretion of new and old part of the city in the design of Jingzhou＇s urban landscape and construction.
