This paper firstly lays out the significance of bilingual teaching to non-English majors in China; then it goes on to explore some challenges and difficulties in the present bilingual teaching practice in terms of conception of teaching, quality of teachers, course design and so forth; lastly the author proposes some practical solutions to these challenges.
