摘要
艾略特重写经典的精英意识决定了《普鲁弗洛克的情歌》中典故的应用,具体而言,典故同时具有排他性和包涵性;通过今与昔,尊贵与卑琐,秩序与失序等对照展现了一幅现代世界的精神图景,而所谓“情歌”实乃现代人之哀歌矣。
The use of allusion in The Love Song of J.Alfred Prufrock is subject to Eliot' s elitist attempt to remap the literary cannon.In specific,allusion is at once exclusive and inclusive,which brings the present in sharp contrast to the past and his juxtaposition of what is noble,orderly with what is obscene and anarchical vivifies the spiritual landscape of his time and the so-called love song is no more than a frantic and pathetic travesty.
