摘要
分析了研究图形图像压缩方法的重要意义,提出用与曲线相交的折线代替传统的与曲线相接的折线来逼近一般曲线的方法,并找到了使其最佳逼近的顶点修正值.理论分析与实验数据表明,新算法与传统方法相比,其数据压缩比有很大提高.
In this paper, a method to use the curve - intersecting poly - line to approximate the general curves is proposed, and the shift value of vertex to make the optimum approximation is found. Theoretical analysis and the experimental results show that the compression ratio of the new algorithm to the traditional ones is much greater .
