In this paper, detailed analysis of implementation of VOIP based on CS4281 soundcard in VxWorks is proposed. Firstly,theory of VOIP based on soundcard is introduced. Then, analysis of structure and implementation of soundcard driver and network communication module are given. At last,the questions and methods in development process are describered. The soundeard driver in this paper pay more attention on common characteristic of implementation of PCI soundeard driver in Vx Works,which include necessary configuration and steps. It provides some reference to another sound card driver in VxWorks. Development of VOIP support the embedded application with sound.
