摘要
日本在对台湾实行殖民统治的五十年间,台湾绘画界进行了不屈不挠的反殖民主义运动。综观历史,台湾绘画的反殖民主义运动可以分为三个时段:1895—1908年为“真空时代”,1909—1923年为“自发时代”,1924—1945年为“自觉时代”。在“真空时代”,台湾中国画运用隐名遁世来对殖民主义统治作无声的抵抗,而台湾西洋画尚不曾产生;在“自发时代”,台湾西洋画家们主要是自发地依靠手中画笔诉说殖民统治的残酷和心中的惆怅;在“自觉时代”,台湾西洋画界不仅依靠绘画作品还成立了众多的绘画组织对日本殖民统治展开了大规模的对抗运动。
Taiwan’s painters made persevering anti- colonial movement in the fifty years of Japan governed Taiwan. Survey the history vertically, the anti-colonial movement may be divided three stages___1)Vacuum Time:1895___1908;2)Spontaneous Time:1909___192 3;3)Self-conscious Time:1924___1945. In the Vacuum Time, Taiwan’s Chinese painters made soundless mo- vement of resisting colonialism by hiding themselves, and at the same time Taiwan’s western painting had not been emerged. In the Spontaneous Time, Taiwan’s western painters charged the cruelties of Japanese colonial government and poured their melancholies out by their paintings. But in the Self-conscious Time, Tai wan’s western painters made large-scale counterwork to Japanese colonial reign not only by their paintings but also by building some organizations of painting.
