摘要
通过共混挤出方法制备聚苯乙烯(PS)/改性纳米CaCO3复合材料,分析测试其冲击强度和弯曲性能及维卡软化温度,并表征了纳米CaC,3子在PS中的分散状态。当w(nano-CaCO3)为2.5%-5.0%时,复合材料的冲击强度和弯曲强度均显著提高,对热性能影响较小,维卡软化温度仍维持在98℃左右。透射电子显微镜观测表明,纳米CaCO3粒子在复合材料中仍呈纳米分散状态。
Several kinds of composite materials consisting of polystyrene(PS) and modified nanometer calcium carbonate (nano-CaCO3) were prepared by blending extrusion method. The impact strength, flexural property and Vicat softening point of the composite material (PS/nano-CaCO3)were analyzed; the distribution status of nano-CaCO3 particles in the PS matrix was characterized. When mass fraction of nano-CaCO3 was in the range of 2.5%-5.0%, both impact strength and flexural strength were improved remarkably, whereas the thermal performance of the composites was only influenced a little as verified by the unchanged Vicat softening temperature of 98 ℃. The observation by transmission electron microscope demonstrated the nano-monodispersity of the CaCO3 particles in the composite materials.
